Minor girl raped in Delhi after kidnapping, police launch probe

New Delhi: A shameful incident has come to light from the national capital Delhi. A Class 10 girl was abducted and raped in Delhi's Narela and beaten up badly when she resisted. As soon as the girl came out, she has been admitted to the hospital. Police have launched an investigation into the matter and are on the lookout for the culprits.

The victim, who was badly injured in the incident that took place on Thursday afternoon in Narela, has been admitted to a hospital in Rohini. The police have registered a case on the basis of the statement of the victim and her father. CCTVs around the spot is being scanned so that the culprits can be identified and arrested as soon as possible.

On Friday, the victim's father lodged a complaint. According to the complaint, the victim was returning from her school on Thursday afternoon. Suddenly, a man attacked her from behind and grabbed her, and took her to a dilapidated house 30 meters away. He also assaulted and raped the victim. When the victim resisted, he threw a stone lying nearby and hit the victim. After raping, the criminal fled from there. The victim raised an alarm and informed the people nearby. Local people admitted her to the hospital. The victim suffered serious head injuries. The police have registered a case under sections of the POCSO Act and started investigating the matter.
