Karnataka reports over six thousand corona cases in a single day

Bengaluru: Corona has set a new record in Karnataka on Thursday. In the last twenty-four hours, 6,128 new cases have been revealed. But 3,793 infected people were also discharged from the hospital together, which is the largest number till date. The total number of patients has reached 1,18,632. Of these, 46,694 have been successful in defeating the infected corona. 2,230 infected people have died due to corona. The death of 83 of these patients has been confirmed on Thursday. Of these, 4 infected died at home, while 7 were brought to the hospital in a dead state. A total of 620 patients are admitted in ICU in the state, including 337 in Bangalore.

A total of 38,095 samples, including 20,488 rapid antigen tests, have been tested in the last 24 hours. A total of 13,13,856 people have been investigated so far. Of these, 1,25,091 people have undergone rapid antigen investigation. Apart from this, cases of corona are also increasing rapidly in Bangalore. Out of the new 6,128 infected, 2,233 patients have come from Bangalore city. The total number of patients has reached 53,324.

Out of these 36,523 infected people are under treatment. 15,791 patients have become healthy. Of these, 1,912 infected were discharged from the hospital on Thursday. 1,009 infected people have died due to corona. Of these, 22 people have been confirmed only on Wednesday. 430 new Corona cases have been reported in Mysuru district. Corona cases are also increasing rapidly in Ballari district. In the district, 343 new infections were confirmed. Out of 6063 patients, 2566 patients have been cured while 3423 are active cases. 74 patients could not be saved.
