Today celebrates the inauguration of Siyom Bridge in Arunachal Pradesh inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh along with 27 other infrastructure projects finished by Border Roads Organisation (BRO) under the project Brahmank, which has been build on a exhaustive budget of Rs 724.3 crore.

These projects will lead to boost the security and will help military in defense around the Indian border along the Chinese border, covering the area from Ladakh to Arunachal. This will provide military advantage in deploying troops easily to the border area against China's random interventions around the Line of Actual Control (LAC), movement of heavy military vechiles in the area of upper Siang district. This is a strategic move made by India Government in alliance with BRO to strengten the army response.  

With this BRO will make it to 103 infrastructure projects completed by BRO in tear 2023 at a cost of Rs 2897 cr, as per Border Roads Organisation official statement. 
The Siyom Bridge is a 100 meter long forming a 'Class-70' steel arch made over the River Sayom on the Along-Yinkiong road along Tuting and Yinkiong regions. This bridge comes out as a dedication towards the India and its military after the clash in Tawang which has created a wave of tension between both the countries, last month. 

Along with the Siyom Bridge, 21 other bridges, 3 roads and three other infrastructure has been inagurated by Defense Minister from Arunachal Pradesh in regions of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh.

"India has never started any war on its own or grabbed even an inch of land. If anyone mistakes this cordiality and peace-loving nature as our weakness, I would like to tell them while we are believers of ‘shanti’, we are also followers of ‘shakti’", Rajnath Singh said.
