New Delhi: The first match of the three-Test series between India and South Africa will be played in Visakhapatnam tomorrow i.e. Wednesday. The Indian team has announced the playing eleven for this. Experience in the team is preferred while the decision was taken to place the youth out. Announcing the team on Tuesday, captain Kohli said that Wriddhiman Saha will replace wicketkeeping in place of Rishabh Pant, while the spinner duo of R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja will be seen on the field. A day before the first match of the three-Test series, captain Kohli spoke to the media and informed about the playing eleven.

Kohli said that experience has been given more importance in the team. While wicketkeeping includes veteran Wriddhiman Saha replacing Rishabh Pant, who is battling poor form, spinner R Ashwin is also part of the playing XI. Kuldeep Yadav is excluded. In such fast bowling, Ishant and Shami have been given a place in the team while Umesh Yadav will sit out. Kohli explained that before playing the first match of the series, the team management discussed the playing eleven. In the first Test against South Africa, a fully balanced team is going to take the field. The decision was taken to discuss wicketkeeping and spinners.
