Ranchi: A three-Test series between India and South Africa has concluded. India have made a clean sweep of the series from 3 - 0. Rohit Sharma is elected 'Man of the Series' in his first Test series as an opener. Rohit Sharma scored a total of 529 runs in four innings of three Tests. His best score was 212 in this series which also proved to be the best score of his Test career. At the same time, his average was 132.25 which is unique in itself. He scored two double centuries and two centuries in this Test series. He hit 62 fours and 19 sixes during this entire Test series.
During this Test series, he got the man of the match title for scoring two magnificent centuries in both innings of his first match. After this, he failed in the second Test, but he returned again in the third Test and was elected Man of the Match again after playing an innings of 212 runs. That is, he became Man of the Match twice in three Tests. Rohit was adjudged Man of the Series because of Rohit's excellent batting and his consistency throughout the Test series. Rohit Sharma changed his record a lot in Test cricket after his performance in this Test series.
