New Delhi: The Indian government is running Operation Ganga to rescue Indian nationals trapped in Ukraine amid the Russian attack. Thousands of Indian nationals have been rescued so far under Operation Ganga. The special thing is that the Government of India has also evacuated the citizens of many countries other than Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal through this operation.

 

 

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, 9 Bangladeshi nationals have been evacuated from Ukraine recently under Operation Ganga. PM Sheikh Hasina has thanked PM Modi for the rescue of the citizens of Bangladesh. At the same time, a Pakistani student has also thanked PM Modi.  ANI has shared a video of a Pakistani girl who was stranded in Ukraine in this regard and is about to reach her home with the help of the Indian government. The girl in the video is named AsmaAn Shafiq, who thanked the Indian Embassy of Kyiv and the Prime Minister of India for helping her get out of Ukraine.  

According to the report, Asma was rescued by the Indian authorities and is now en route to western Ukraine to get out of the country. She will soon meet again with her family. In the video shared with the tweet, she is seen saying, "Hello! My name is Asma Shafiq. I am from Pakistan and I thank the Embassy of India in Kyiv for supporting us in every way. We were stuck in a very difficult situation here. I also thank PM Modi. I hope we get home safely.''
