Leh: The deadlock between India and China on the Ladakh border continues. The atmosphere on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) remains tense and the deployment of troops has been increased from both countries. Meanwhile, Chinese drones have been seen many times in Indian territory. Sources say that Chinese drones were seen on Indian positions at least four times in the past few weeks.

Seals on the ground have been equipped with man-portable drones. In particular, the Ladakh border is being monitored with the 'Spylight' mini UAV system. The drone was taken from a joint venture between Cyron Solutions and Systems and Israeli firm Bluebird Aero Systems for monitoring high altitude locations in 2018. This drone also works in adverse weather conditions. This drone is capable of delivering real time video footage in all weather conditions at an altitude of 10,000 meters or 30,000 feet. Last month, the Communist Party of China mouthpiece Global Times announced that its new unmanned helicopter drone could be deployed on the LAC.

The report says that the AR500C can fly at an altitude of 5,000 meters and has 6,700 sealing. This Chinese drone can fly for five hours. Its maximum speed is 170 km and it can carry a maximum of 500 kg.
