New Delhi: The seventh round of military talks between India and China ended late in the night after nearly 12 hours. Though no official statement has come to the fore after the end of the meeting, the end of the talks with the 'positive note' is being conveyed. It has also been decided that there will be another military dialogue soon.

Even after the continuous military and diplomatic talks, the preparations made to avoid the cold of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) on the border shows that the Chinese troops are not in a mood to retreat and the strategy of ' timepass ' is being adopted through these negotiations. There has been a tense situation between India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) since May. In the talks so far, the military officers of the two countries have discussed reducing the number of troops on the border, but there has been no change in the ground situation.

The talks were followed by the officers of the two armies in Chushul area of the Indian territory around 12 noon on Monday and the talks ended at 11.30 pm. On behalf of India, Lt Gen Harinder Singh led the Indian delegation for the last time as he has been transferred to Dehradun, IMA.
