New Delhi: The corona cases in the country have reached beyond 73 lakhs. There are currently more than 8 lakh active cases that are undergoing treatment. 63.8 lakh people have returned home after recovering. In the country, 1.11 lakh people have died due to corona. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 9,12,26,305 samples have been tested for coronavirus till yesterday, of which 11,36,183 samples have been tested tomorrow.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the doubling time of cases of corona infection in India has increased rapidly to 70.4 days. It was 25.5 days in the middle of August. This means that earlier corona cases were doubling in 25 days, now they are taking 70 days to double. According to the Health Ministry report, a total of 67708 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 680 people have lost their lives.

Till now the total number of corona infections has been 73,07,098 across the country. Out of which 8,12,390 cases are active. The number of patients who recovered from Corona has increased to 63,83,442. With this, a total of 111266 people have lost their lives due to corona infection.
