The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning for the next 5 days. This warning is for many places, including Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana, and Uttarakhand. According to the department, the weather may still remain bad for several days. The IMD issued a five-day bulletin expressing the possibility of heavy rain and snowfall at various places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rains are expected at different places in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Odisha.

Weather in Odisha, Uttarakhand and many areas of Gangetic West Bengal will be bad for several days. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm at a speed of 45-55 kmph. There is also a possibility of hail falling at places like Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Madhya Pradesh with lightning and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms are forecast on March 15 at various places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya.
