A similar scene was seen in the Lok Sabha on Thursday when the House rejected Speaker Om Birla's proposal in one voice. After this, the Lok Sabha speaker had to withdraw his proposal.

In fact, the Lok Sabha Speaker had appealed to the MPs that the proceedings of the House have been disrupted for the past few days and in such a situation, the six grant demands pending on Saturday-Sunday should be discussed. Speaker Om Birla said that if the permission of the house is allowed, then the demands of the grant can be discussed on Sunday and Saturday holidays. As soon as he said this, all the MPs present in the house-made a no (no) voice in unison.

On this, the Lok Sabha Speaker wanted to know the opinion of Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal, who has the responsibility of running the proceedings of the House and the functioning of the government. However, the speaker while advising the MPs said that there would be no lunch break now, along with this, discussions on grant demands would be held till late night on Thursday and Friday.
