In the year 2009, Naresh Kumar took Priyam to coach Sanjay Rastogi at Meerut College Cricket Academy in Bhamashah Park.

In order to learn the skill of cricket, Priyam started to show his skills. Taxi driver Naresh Kumar used to take Priyam to Bhamashah Park every morning and take him home in the evening. Priyam also started to live cricket with training for cricket from morning to evening. Priyam's world remained confined to the home and cricket field, while father Naresh also always stood with his son.
