New Delhi: There is good news coming amid increasing cases of the corona. Corona vaccine Covaxin may be launched on 15 August. This vaccine has been manufactured by pharmaceutical company Bharat Biotech. It is possible that Bharat Biotech and ICMR will launch the vaccine.
Recently, human trials of covaxine have been approved. According to a letter issued by ICMR, enrollment for human trials will start from July 7. After this, if all the trials went right then it is expected that by August 15, the vaccine can be launched. India Biotech vaccine can come in the market. This letter has been issued by ICMR and all stakeholders (including AIIMS doctors). It says that if the trial is successful in every stage, then by August 15, the Corona vaccine can come in the market as estimated by ICMR.
Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company Bharat Biotech claimed that it has also got the green signal from DGCI for the phase-I and phase-2 human trials of Covaxin. The company has also said that trial work will be started in the first week of July. Bharat Biotech has previous experience in making vaccines.
