The unseasonal rains have caused havoc in the states of South India. Due to heavy rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh many people have lost their lives, crops have been destroyed.
Along with this, there has been a loss of life and property in Maharashtra due to rain. According to the meteorological estimate, heavy rains are expected in Assam and Meghalaya region on Saturday. During this, strong winds can also blow. According to the Meteorological Department, rains may also occur over South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Konkan, Goa and parts of central Maharashtra will remain cloudy.
According to media reports, along with this, the Cyclone Warning Division has said that a deep pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal, due to which heavy rains are expected in Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain and heavy rain may occur in some parts. In addition, there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall at some places in Tripura.
