Railways takes big decision, 'Now no train will run from Anand Vihar'

New Delhi: Indian Railways has taken a big decision in view of the shortage of beds in the hospitals of the capital of the country and the cases of corona rising continuously. Indian Railways has stopped the movement of trains running from Anand Vihar and train coaches designed as isolation wards will be erected on all platforms of Anand Vihar terminal.

According to the railway, 10 special trains to and from Anand Vihar railway station (Anand Vihar Terminal) will now be operational from Old Delhi railway station. According to Northern Railway, a total of 5 pairs of trains i.e. 10 trains have been removed from the Anand Vihar Terminal to the Old Delhi Railway Station. All these 5 pairs of trains will now operate from Old Delhi Railway Station. All these trains go to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The number of corona infected in Delhi is increasing rapidly and the Railways has taken this decision due to not having beds in hospitals. According to this decision, now the Anand Vihar railway station will be set up as a hospital and the isolation coaches of the railway will be erected on all its platforms so that patients of the coronavirus can be kept here.
