New Delhi: Tejas Express, the country's first private train, can be started in Navratri by IRCTC. Tejas Express run by a private company will have many specialties. Sources say that passengers of Tejas Express can get lounge facility like that of an airport. Initially, lounge facilities are expected to be available only to executive class passengers at Delhi or Lucknow railway station for a nominal fee.

It is worth mentioning that there is a lounge facility same as the airports at Delhi and Lucknow railway stations, where Wi-Fi facility is also available along with a very comfortable place to relax. Not only this, but it is also planned that the business class passenger will also be given the facility of meeting in the lounge. Apart from this, many facilities will be available in the executive class of Tejas Express. High standard catering facilities will also be provided to the passengers.

On October 4, this train will be flagged off from Lucknow to Delhi. Sources say that the process of booking tickets will start 15 days before the start of the train i.e. around 20 September. The operation of this train will be completely in the hands of IRCTC. IRCTC can later assign the train to a private company. The Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express train will run only 6 days a week. Train will not operate on Tuesday.
