Indore: After heavy rains in Indore on Friday morning, the T20 matches held at the Holkar Stadium under the Road Safety World Series tournament from September 17 to 19 are seen in a cloud of crisis. These matches are to be held between teams of former international cricketers from different countries. According to the organisers, the clash at the Holkar Stadium is scheduled to begin on Saturday (September 17) with the matches between Bangladesh Legends vs New Zealand Legends and England Legends vs West Indies Legends.

Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) chief curator Samandar Singh Chauhan has said that the Holkar stadium ground has been covered with cover due to the onset of rain, but if the weather continues, it is difficult to organize T20 matches on Saturday. Meanwhile, Vedprakash Singh Chandel, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, has said that Indore may receive light to moderate rain for the next three days. According to the organizers, many star players of the past era, including Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Brian Lara, have reached Indore for the Road Safety World Series tournament. He has said that this competition is being organized with the aim of spreading awareness about road safety.
