Indore: Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, former West Indies legend Brian Lara and many former international players reached Indore on Thursday (September 15) afternoon. All the players were given a warm welcome amidst heavy rain here. Despite heavy rain, there was a huge crowd of fans from the airport to the hotel to see their favourite players.
All the former legendary cricketers have come to Indore due to the World Road Safety Cricket Tournament held in Indore. The matches will be played at the Holkar Stadium here on September 17, 18 and 19. The match between India Legends vs West Indies Legends was to be played today i.e. on Friday, September 16 evening, but in view of heavy rain, the organizers cancelled the match. The match will now be played on September 19.

September 17 – England Legends vs West Indies Legends - 7.30 pm
September 18 – Sri Lanka Legends vs South Africa Legends - 3.30 pm
September 18 – Australia Legends vs Bangladesh Legends - 7.30 pm
September 19 – India Legends vs Bangladesh Legends - 7.30 pm
All these matches will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Former India and West Indies legends arrived at Indore airport on Thursday afternoon to take part in the World Road Safety Series, where they were traditionally welcomed with tilak. Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara were seen having fun like friends at the airport. From here, all reached the hotel via bus.
