ISSF Shooting World Cup: India wins gold medal in 50m rifle three positions mixed team

New Delhi: India's Sanjeev Rajput and Tejaswini Sawant won the gold medal in the 50m rifle three positions mixed team event on Friday at the Continuing ISSF Shooting World Cup at Karni Singh Shooting Range. Rajput and Tejaswini won the gold medal in the final defeating Ukraine Serhiy Kulish and Anna Ilina from 31-29.

This is India's 11th gold medal in this World Cup. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar and Sunidhi Chauhan won the bronze medal defeating Timothy Sherry and Virginia Thrasher of the United States with 31-15. Rajput and Tejaswini had earlier reached the final qualification round by scoring 588. The two shooters secured 294-294 points.

In the men's 25-meter rapid fire pistol event, all three Indian shooters Gurpreet Singh, Anish Bhanwala, and Vijayvir Sidhu qualified for the final. The Indian shooters had earlier made a clean sweep by winning the three medals in the women's 25-meter pistol event. In this category, In this category, Chinki Yadav won Gold, Rahi Sarnobat won Silver, and Manu Bhaker won Bronze Medals.
