"It was my first relationship, even though it didn't last very long": Paras Kalnawat on Urfi Javed

When it comes to his development as a dancer on the 10th season of the dance reality show, Paras Kalnawat, who left the popular family drama Anupamaa to join Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (JDJ), is very happy with his results. Today he is content with his choice to take part in JDJ after some initial trepidation. However, attention isn't just being drawn to his appearance on the dance programme. Additionally, his private life has been covered by the media. As a matter of fact, it was claimed that at the JDJ launch party last month, Paras got into a fight with Bigg Boss OTT contestant Urfi Javed (whose name has since been misspelt as Uorfi). In fact, she described their relationship as "a childhood mistake," with him being "possessive,"

So, what actually transpired between the two? "We didn't fight at the party," responds Paras. She even approached me and had a nice conversation with me. Because the music was so loud and we had to literally shout to be heard, people thought we were screaming at each other. Even more, she posted a story on Instagram praising my JDJ performance.

The former couple still gets along, and Paras consults her for guidance occasionally. He says, "I have nothing bad to say about Urfi. About five years ago, we were together for six months. It was my first relationship, even though it didn't last very long. So it's clear that I was smitten with her. Just 19 at the time. But it was over, so I moved on. Being referred to as possessive has no impact on me as long as the people who matter to me know me and I know who I am as a person. I have a lot of female friends because they trust me to never cross the line. I'm not sure what Urfi was going through when she made that statement about me. I also don't dwell on the past. I like to focus on the here and now. Today, we respect one another and are friendly. When I'm unsure, I message her. She offers advice, which I consider. We both have a good place in our lives right now.
