Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive is making quite buzz since its announcement. The release date of the film was not confirmed but now Filmmaker Karan johar announced its release date.

Producer Karan Johar. He took to Twitter and shared a video snippet captioning it as, “On your marks, get set & race. See you in cinemas for a pulsating ride on 28th June, 2019 . #DRIVE.” the film has been directed by Tarun Mansukhani and is now slated to release on June 28, 2019.

Drive is an official remake of the popular 2011-released American film Drive. This action drama marks the first collaboration between Sushant and Jacqueline. Alongside Sushant and Jacqueline, the film also stars Sapna Pabbi, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi and Vikramjeet Virk in main roles.

On the workfront, Sushant was last seen in Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath alongside Sara Ali Khan. Apart from Drive, Sushant is also occupied with the shoot of Mukesh Chhabra's Kizie Aur Manny alongside Sanjana Sanghi. The film has recived positive response from the audience. Talking about Jacqueline, she was last in multi-starrer Race 3 alongside Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Anil Kapoor and Daisy Shah in key roles.
