Amidst Pakistani media reports that Islamabad was considering to allow Jadhav's mother to travel to meet her son, India on Thursday said that there has been no change in Pakistan's position on providing consular access to him and also on visa request for his mother.

Earlier the matter had heated up as India apprised the International Community regarding the violation of the Vienna Convention Treaty as Pakistan rejected consular access 15 times to India. While there is scant hope that the appeal will be considered by General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the next and final option after this would be an appeal to the Pakistani President.
