Jammu: Not only the country but the whole world is suffering due to Corona. In Jammu and Kashmir, Unlock-4 guidelines can get approval for operating passenger trains on interstate routes. In the first phase, the government can only agree to run government buses. The administration has made preparations for this. The Transport Department has also given its approval on this.

In the fourth unlock process by the central government, the ban on interstate movement has been ended. After that, the fears of the state government now that the government inter state bus transport service will start. The state government can start the interstate bus service of JKSRTC in its guidelines. In the past, the government will give consent to run only government buses as a trial.

Due to covid-19, there is a ban on the operation of passenger vehicles on interstate routes since five months. JKSRTC operates interstate bus service to the states of Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP and Uttarakhand etc. In such a situation, the government can only allow government buses to operate. A Transport Department official said that this is under discussion and there is hope that government buses can get operational clearance. With this, the cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state, and many changes can be made with Unlock-4.
