Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir has been in the spotlight since Section 370 was revoked. There is strange news from Jammu and Kashmir Cricket. According to a newspaper report, many players in Jammu and Kashmir have not been contacted since Section 370 was removed. The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association is not in touch with its players, including captain Pervez Rasool. Section 144 has been in place since the removal of Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the mobile and internet services of the state have also been closed for a long time in terms of security.

The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association will not send its team to the Viji Trophy at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh as they have not been assured of the safety of the players from Governor Satyapal Malik. "We will hardly be able to participate in the Viji Trophy," said Sah Bukhari, CEO, JKCA. Things have improved but we have no contact with our own players. We have mobile numbers of players but they have not given us their landline numbers. In today's world, people do not use landlines.

We did talk to some of the players but we could not get in touch with the players who are in the valley because their mobile phones are not working. We don't even know where Parvez Rasool is. The trophy is organised by the Andhra Cricket Association for the search for new players and match practice. Gradually, the situation in the State is returning to normal.
