Kolkata: After the incident of rape and murder of a Rajvanshi tribal student in Kaliaganj of North Dinajpur, West Bengal, there has been a lot of ruckus over the police dragging her dead body. To investigate the entire incident, National Commission for Child Protection (NCPCR) Chairperson Priyank Kanungo on Sunday questioned the role of the Bengal Police on the issue of rape and murder of a girl child in Kaliaganj, North Dinajpur, saying that the police did not inform the victim's family. Haven't even talked to.

It is notable that the politics of Bengal has heated up in the case of the recovery of the girl's body in Kaliaganj. On Sunday, representatives of the National Child Rights Protection Commission (NCPCR) reached the house of the deceased girl. The members of the commission talked to the family members of the deceased. Priyank Kanungo, head of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, told the press at the Circuit House in Karanjora, Raiganj, that the Bengal Police has not yet recorded the statement of the family members of the deceased. Relatives told that this is wrong. How can the administration take any decision without taking the statements of the family members.” In this regard, Priyank Kanungo has tweeted that he has been waiting for an hour, but the officials of Bengal are missing.
On the other hand, the girl's family alleges that the Bengal Police is not investigating properly. Mallika Burman, a relative of the deceased, has said, “The state police has mentioned suicide in the report. We do not accept this. This is absolutely wrong. We want strict punishment for the boy who committed this crime. We have clearly given full information to the members of the commission who came to meet this morning."
