A new Parliament is going to be built in the country, whose 'Bhoomi Pujan' has been done. The actor and leader of Makkal Nidhi Maim, Kamal Haasan has raised questions on the central government for building a new parliament. Haasan wrote in tweeting whether it is necessary to build Parliament by spending crores of rupees at this time. In order to protect whom, we are building this Parliament in times of danger.

Haasan further said in his tweet that when the Great Wall of China was built thousands of people lost their lives but the rulers claimed that it was necessary to protect individuals. Thousands of crores are being spent on the Parliament, while COVID-19 has lost livelihood in half of India? Please reply, my elected PM.

PM Narendra Modi took part in the Bhoomi Poojan of the new Parliament House on Thursday. The actual construction of the Parliament building is the focal point of the Rs 20,000-crore Central Vista project, as per the government's strategy, the four-storey Parliament building will be built on an area of 64,500 square meters and will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 971 crore. Its construction is expected to be completed before the country's 75th Independence Day. The new parliament will be able to accommodate 888 members in the Lok Sabha chamber and the seating capacity can be up to 1,224. The present Parliament does not have other measures like modern communication technology and anti-earthquake technology. All these things will be taken care of in the new structure.
