Bhopal: Former MP CM Kamal Nath has targeted the BJP government through a tweet. They appeared to be upset with the crackdown on the protests. He also accused the Shivraj government of misusing power. Kamal Nath said that in the Shivraj government, the work of taking away and suppressing the right to protest in a democracy is also being done. The Opposition has the right to raise the voice of the people and to protest. People also have the right to have a stand on matters of public interest and to speak the truth.

In the same state, the Shivraj government is giving rise to the wrong tradition. The voice of protest is being crushed in a dictatorial manner. The Shivraj government does not want to hear the truth. In Gwalior, the Congressmen who are opposing the removal of the mandi of the poor are being oppressed by adopting dictatorial behaviour. They are being subjected to repressive action out of political malice.

Kamal Nath said that there are many modes of protest in a democracy, among them, burning effigies is also a way, but the kind of repressive action being taken against Congress workers in Gwalior is very unfair and very condemnable. Similarly, the action taken against the tribal student who raised the issue of employment and scholarship in Indore in the past is also a dictatorial step. It's an attempt to crush the truth. At the same time, Kamal Nath alleged that the Shivraj government is misusing power. Let's understand that government is never permanent. We will not sit silently on this repression, the more we oppress, the more vocally we will oppose. The BJP government is working to spoil the peaceful situation in the state, to seek democratic rights and to destroy mutual political courtesy.
