Guwahati: According to the order of the Governor of Assam, there has been a reshuffle in the bureaucracy by the Personnel Department of Assam. As per the recent notification, transfer of many top officials, secretaries, deputy commissioners of Assam are involved. One of the major interchanges is that Biswajit Pegu, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metro, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner. Pallav Gopal Jha is a 2012-batch officer from Jharkhand, India. He has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup. Deba Kumar Mishra, PPS to the Chief Minister and MD, Assam Tourism Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as DC Biswanath.

 Dibakar Nath, ADC, I/C Bijni has been transferred and posted as DC Karbi Anglong. Hiware Nisarga Gautam, Deputy Commissioner, South Salmara is posted as Deputy Commissioner, Naugaon. Mridul Yadav, Deputy Secretary of PHE Department and Joint Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission, has been transferred as DC of Karimganj. Krishna Barua, Joint Secretary, Plains Tribes and Backward Classes Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as DC, West Karbi Anglong.

Pallavi Sarkar, ADC, Hailakandi has been posted as DC, South Salmara. In the reshuffle, Dima Hasao DC, Paul Barua was transferred to Charaideo New DC, and DC Parnab Kumar Sarma, Biswanath was transferred and posted as the new DC of Darang district. In case of change in the Finance Department, Director Financial Inspection and Additional Secretary Nazreen Ahmed have been transferred and DC of Dima Hasao has been posted.
