After the announcement of Samantha & Chaitanya Akkineni's divorce, fans started to voice out their anger & frustration against their most loved couple's decision to part ways as husband and wife. The announcement was made on the 2nd of October as the couple post on Instagram mentioning the separation for mutual growth. 

The fans, media, and troll cells have been bombarding not just the celebrities but also the close associates of the celebrities including Kanthi Dutt, Pritam Jukalker, Shilpa Reddy, Sadna Singh amongst others. The celebrity’s friends kept quiet in view of the issue. 

While on Saturday, Pritam mentions “secrets and lies will kill relationships”.  But on Monday morning, Dutt tweeted “Freedom of speech and expression, is not a license to lie & destroy people’s career or to malign people’s reputations”. 

After 2 days of the announcement as well, fans and media continue to question the close friends of the celebrities to learn more about the issue & departure. In a statement, Kanthi Dutt mentioned, “Live and let live please.” Is it time for the fans to move on just like the couple did?
