Bangalore: On the brutal murder of a Bajrang Dal worker in Karnatak, CM Basavaraj Bommai has said that some important evidence has been found during the investigation of the case. In fact, 26-year-old Bajrang Dal activist Harsha was stabbed to death in Shimoga district on Sunday night. Since this incident, tension has spread throughout the area. Schools and colleges in the city have been closed for two days as a precautionary measure.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said, "Harsha was stabbed to death yesterday. During the investigation that began last night, some clues have been found in the incident." Security has been beefed up in Shimoga following the alleged murder of 26-year-old Harsha. Not only this, Section 144 of the CRPC has also been imposed in the entire area. State Home Minister Araga Gyanendra said that schools and colleges in the city limits will remain closed for two days as a precautionary measure and security measure.

He has expressed apprehension that four to five people were involved in the killing of the Bajrang Dal activist. Media reports quoted the minister as saying, "Harsh was killed by a group of four to five youths. I don't know if any organization is behind this murder. Law and order in Shimoga is under control. In view of the security, all schools and colleges in the city border have been closed for two days."
