The AAP is teaming up with the Congress in Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana, while they will go solo in Punjab. The party has also announced its candidates for several constituencies.

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Chief Minister of Delhi, alongside Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, will inaugurate the party's Lok Sabha election campaign here in Delhi on Friday. The duo will commence the campaign at noon, in the presence of other AAP leaders and workers, from the party's headquarters on DDU Marg, as per a party representative.

The AAP is all set to contest the upcoming general elections in partnership with the Congress, as part of the INDIA bloc, with a seat-sharing agreement covering Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana.

However, in Punjab, both parties have decided to go their separate ways for the Lok Sabha polls.

In Delhi, the AAP will vie for four out of the seven Lok Sabha seats, while Congress will nominate candidates for the remaining three.

Under the seat-sharing pact with Congress, the AAP has secured two constituencies - Bharuch and Jamnagar - in Gujarat, and Kurukshetra in Haryana.

Furthermore, AAP has unveiled its candidates for the Guwahati, Dibrugarh, and Sonitpur Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam.
