Chandigarh : After winning the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made preparations to try hard in other states as well. Haryana is also one of these states, where municipal elections are proposed in June. But former state CM and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda does not consider AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal a challenge. He says that his political fight in the state is with the BJP.

In an interview to the media, when Hooda was asked whether it could be difficult for the Congress to return to power due to AAP's growing supremacy, he said that the people of Punjab wanted change and they chose AAP as an alternative. I saw He told that Congress is already an option for the people of Haryana. Hooda further said that, 'I do not see Kejriwal as a challenger'. Hooda said about AAP's performance that they had earlier contested all 90 assembly seats and 10 Lok Sabha seats, but could not win any. He said that AAP is not a threat to the Congress in Haryana, our fight is with the BJP.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a rally in Kurukshetra on Sunday. His rally is also being seen as the beginning of preparations for the Haryana Assembly elections to be held in 2024. During the rally, he also attacked the ruling BJP in the state. He had said that, 'Those who want to make their children doctors, engineers, lawyers, they should come with us. Those who want to make them rioters, goons, rapists, they (BJP) should go with them. All such elements are in that party.
