Kochi: A woman went missing from her home 18 months ago. The husband, who was mad in memory of his wife, left no stone unturned to find her. He kept pleading with the police to bring his wife back. The police, however, were already suspicious of him and were waiting for him to make a mistake. As soon as the murder was exposed. Not only the police but the neighbors were also surprised. The incident took place in Kerala's Ernakulam area. Sanjeev and his wife Ramya lived happily here. Suddenly in August 2021, his wife mysteriously went missing. People around were very sad for Sanjeev. Sanjeev lodged a missing person's report at the police station in February 2022. Whenever the police asked him any question during interrogation, he used to throw dust in the eyes of the police. He didn't answer any of the questions correctly. Also kept confusing police in the investigation. However, the police team kept a close watch on him for one-and-a-half years and arrested him after the team gathered enough evidence to prosecute him.

According to the report, the victim Ramya was brutally murdered after an argument with her husband Sanjeev over the phone. Sanjeev then buried her near the house and kept her in the house for one and a half years. The accused had started preparing for the next marriage by telling his relatives and locals that his wife had eloped with someone else. During the investigation conducted by the police, the remains of the woman's body were found in the excavation inside the house. Based on this and other evidence, Sanjeev has been arrested on charges of murder and destruction of evidence. Further investigation is underway.
