West Indies: Recent video shows Virat Kohli giving young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal some sound advice during a net session. The talented 21-year-old cricketer Jaiswal has been making waves in domestic play and won everyone over with his spectacular performances in the 16th Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

With an astounding 625 runs in 14 games, he finished as the Rajasthan Royals' top run scorer and the fifth-highest scorer overall.

Jaiswal was chosen as a backup player in the Indian team for the World Test Championship final as a result of his outstanding performances, which drew the selectors' notice. Despite not being given the opportunity to play in the starting XI, his regular practice in England and recent performance earned him a spot in the Indian team for the forthcoming West Indies tour.

A multi-format series between India and the West Indies is set to begin on July 12. Two Test matches will kick off the series, which will be followed by three ODIs and five T20I games.

Jaiswal was honored to have the chance to learn from Virat Kohli.  A video of Kohli and Jaiswal is viral having a lengthy conversation during which Kohli was seen carefully examining Jaiswal's technique, pointing out mistakes, and providing the young batter with insightful advice. Shubman Gill, 23, was intently watching the interaction between Kohli and Jaiswal while he was getting ready for practice.
