Kolkata: The case of fake IAS officer in West Bengal and setting up a fake corona vaccination camp is gaining momentum amid the corona crisis. On the one hand, Kolkata police has arrested three more criminals while an expert committee has also been constituted by the West Bengal government. It has been reported that efforts will be made by the Committee to ascertain the impact of fake vaccination and appropriate action will be taken accordingly.

The main culprit in the same case, Debanjan Deb, was arrested by the Kolkata Police a few days ago. The man described himself as an officer IAS first and then two vaccination camps were organized. Later, investigations revealed that Debanjan had carried out the fake vaccination drive by calling himself a fake IAS officer. Police are constantly investigating the case and now three more criminals have been arrested.

Two of the arrested persons are those who played the signatories in the opened bank account. It was reported that Debanjan Deb had opened an account with KMC bank. The criminals Sushanta Das and Rabin Sikdar were the signatories for starting that account. The third criminal has also been a partner of Debanjan Deb and has also played an active role in the entire episode.
