Early Saturday morning, IT Minister KT Rama Rao recalled the days when the iconic green double decker bus was taken to school. He wants to make a passionate journey down the memory lane. The Minister tweeted about his memories and also asked Transport Minister Puvda Ajay Kumar, if there is any possibility of bringing back double deckers, the scene rarely seen anywhere in the country, except for some cities like Thiruvananthapuram, they have limited services.

 

 

Rao's tweet, who has already come to support the idea of bringing double-decker buses back to city highways, was actually triggered by another tweet, one from Sheikh Hussein, who called himself a professional model and entrepreneur. The minister also responded, "Sure sir, Sir. I would talk to MD TSRTC about the possibility of double decker buses on Hyderabad roads. "

 

 

Hussain, who attached the old photograph of the iconic 7 Z Green RTC bus travelling in the city, mostly from Secunderabad via Afzalganj and through the High Court route to the Zoo Park, Rao and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao was tagged and asked if it was a double. Decker bus servicecan be restarted for tourists or as a public bus.
