Bengaluru: Karnataka cm H D Kumaraswamy has said on Friday that the coalition government led by him must complete his five-year term. He said any discussion regarding the midterm elections is now ' irrelevant '. Kumaraswamy's statement comes after a video of his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy went viral on social media, asking the JDS ' workers to be gearing up for the assembly polls.

In his statement, Kumaraswamy said that Nikhil has encouraged the party workers to always look forward to social service. Not only during elections but they should always keep the party active so that whenever elections take place, they can win. Kumaraswamy has said that his statement has been moved by the media to say that the election can be held at any time. CM Kumaraswamy said, "the coalition government will successfully complete its five-year term. Any talk of midterm elections is no longer relevant.

In a video pointing to a lack of trust between the coalition partners, the JDS and the Congress, Nikhil is asking party workers to prepare themselves for the assembly elections. However, he also said that the government has no crisis and his father will complete his five-year term.
