Ladakh MP furious over China's 'ambush', says 'Now it's time to take back Aksai China'

Leh: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Ladakh parliamentary constituency Jamyang Sering Namgyal said on Thursday that Aksai Chin is an Indian territory and now it is time to withdraw it from Chinese occupation. Talking to a private channel, Namgyal said that not only Aksai Chin, but Gilgit and Baltistan are also part of Ladakh.

Jamyang Sering Namgyal, MP from Ladakh, said that this is not India of 2020, India of 1962. The MP further said that Indian shepherds should go to their traditional pastures, which China has occupied and refused to allow herdsmen to enter. India should claim and take back these areas. Ladakh MP Jamyang Sering Namgyal said that we want an important role for the local people in Ladakh for border security. It is noteworthy that MP Jamyang Sering Namgyal expressed his condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers on the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers who were martyred in the clash that occurred late on Monday.

Jamyang Sering Namgyal had said, 'I salute the indomitable valor and selfless sacrifice of the soldiers of the Indian Army in the Galvan Valley. You all showed great courage for the motherland till their last breath. Your valor will always be remembered. My condolences to the families of the brave soldiers.
