Following her split from Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus revealed how she met Maxx Morando while appearing on the May 18 cover of "British Vogue."

On May 18, Miley Cyrus, 30, officially disclosed the history of her relationship with Maxx Morando, 24, in an interview. The "Flowers" singer acknowledged that their romance began a “couple of summers back,” on a blind date. “We got put on a blind date,” Miley admitted. “Well, it was blind for me and not really for him. I thought, ‘The worst that can happen is I leave.’”

Maxx contacted his leading lady on the phone when he was speaking with the publication for the June issue. Notably, "Tyrone" by Erykah Badu is Miley's ringtone for him; she refers to it as the "boyfriend sexy ringtone." The Hannah Montana star spoke candidly about if songs like "Flowers" and "Jaded" are about her 33-year-old ex-husband Liam Hemsworth during the same interview. Naturally though, she kept quiet. Miley joked, "I never need to be a master in the art of deceiving an audience. "It will ignite itself on its own."

Although Maxx and Miley were originally connected in November 2021, it wasn't until March 2023 that they made their first formal red carpet appearance. Together, they were in attendance at the Versace fall/winter fashion show in Los Angeles and looked stunning on the red carpet. Before that, in November 2022, they were seen sharing a brief meal in Malibu. And in March of the same year, a close friend of the singer-songwriter claimed to HollywoodLife that Miley appeared to have "found her other half."

Liam and the stunning blonde secretly wed in 2018, but the marriage ended in divorce two years later.
