Bhopal: The government is currently not in favour of giving too much relaxation in the lockdown implemented across the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. Restrictions will remain in Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh. In the districts where corona has been affected, activities will start in a limited scope except in the concerned containment area. That is, the lockdown may open in other areas after May 3.

In the districts where there is no infection, more and more facilities will be provided by taking necessary precautions. However, provisions such as adhering to physical distance, not allowing congestion at one place will be strictly enforced. The movement of the infected areas to normalcy will remain in place till the movement is stopped. PM Narendra Modi on Monday discussed with the Chief Ministers of all the states about corona control and the circumstances arising out of it through video conferencing.

Permission to start industrial units in 323 industrial areas granted amid lockdown

According to sources, the Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh is not in favor of giving any relaxation to the corona affected areas even after May 3. To prevent the spread of infection, ban will remain in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and other districts. The District Disaster Management Group will decide to open shops outside the infected areas in Jabalpur, Dhar and Khargone.
