Indore: A major shocking case has recently come to light from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. In fact, there has been a lot of negligence on the part of the district hospital here about the body of a patient. A body was kept in the mortuary of the district hospital for postmortem but the rats crushed the body before the postmortem of the body. According to reports, the family members of the deceased have created a ruckus in the hospital. In this case, the hospital administration says, "Strictest action will be taken against whoever is guilty in the case."

The case is said to be from Dhar district. Krishnakant Panchal, a resident of Shejwar, had consumed the chemical substance and was then taken to dhar district hospital for treatment. The patient was  not referred to be of Indore by doctors but as his condition became critical he was brought to the district hospital in Indore. He died during treatment here. The body of the deceased was then kept in the mortuary of indore district hospital for postmortem by the police. When officials saw the body last Saturday morning, they found rat scars on his cheek. Everyone lost their senses when they saw this. Rahul Panchal, nephew of the deceased, said, "The body of my uncle Krishnakant Panchal was sent to the mortuary of the district hospital on Friday evening for postmortem. But we saw that the mortuary does not even have a freezer to keep the body safe."

He further said, "The mortuary staff had said that there would be no damage to the body at night. But after the postmortem, when we saw the body on Saturday, it found rat dog wounds on its face, palm, thumb and fingers. At the same time, the civil surgeon of the hospital, Dr. Santosh Verma said, "Rat crushing marks were found on the cheek of the body." He said, "Medicines are regularly sprayed through a private agency to prevent rats and other animals in the mortuary of the district hospital.''
