Lucknow: Ali, the younger son of Bahubali mafia Atique Ahmed, surrendered in court on Saturday in Sangamnagari Prayagraj. Ali, who has been on the run for the past eight months, had surrendered before the court of Judicial Magistrate IV. A reward of fifty thousand rupees was also announced on him. In fact, earlier the police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on Ali, which was later increased to 50,000.

In fact, Ali, the younger son of mafia Atique Ahmed, was accused of demanding Rs 5 crore from property dealer Zeeshan and grabbing the land. On December 21, 2021, an FIR was lodged against Ali at Kareli police station, since then Ali has been on the run. According to the allegation, Ali along with his accomplices came to Zeeshan on December 31, 2021, and asked him to talk to Atique Ahmed on his mobile with a pistol on his wrist. When Zeeshan refused, Atique asked for Rs 5 crore on the phone. Atique Ahmed threatened Zeeshan to transfer his property in Ainuddinpur to his wife. Otherwise, the outcome will be very bad. He also threatened to kill him if he did not agree.

Let us know that Ali alias Ali Ahmed was denied anticipatory bail by the Supreme Court in June in a major setback in a case of extortion. Justices CT Ravi Kumar and Sudhanshu Dhulia, while hearing the matter, had said that the matter was not of anticipatory bail.
