CM Uddhav Thackeray pays tribute to Netaji on his birth anniversary

Mumbai: Today is January 23 and today is the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today paid homage to freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary. He paid floral tributes to the founder of Azad Hind Fauj at his private residence 'Matoshree' in Bandra.

In the meantime, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and said, "Netaji's heroic work is always a source of inspiration for Indians. At the same time, he also said, "The idea for the freedom of Gandhiji and Bose is two sides of a coin." Subhas Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897. PM Modi has also paid homage to Subhas Chandra Bose.

In a tweet, he wrote: "Salute Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, a great freedom fighter and true son of Bharat Mata, on his birth anniversary. The grateful nation will always remember their sacrifice and dedication to the freedom of the country. #ParakramDivas' Ji in fact, the central government has decided to celebrate his birthday as  Parakram Diwas'.
