Mumbai: Corona's new omicron variant is now spreading rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 12 new cases of omicrons have been reported in the country. So far, 73 cases of omicrons have been reported in the country. Let me tell you all that Maharashtra has the highest number of 32 cases in this list. In fact, amidst all this, there is a possibility of a wave of omicronin in Maharashtra in January. You must be aware that now Section 144 has been imposed in Mumbai from today till 31st December.

A number of restrictions have also been imposed in Delhi. According to reports, 4 cases each were reported in Maharashtra and Kerala, 2 in Telangana, 1 each in Bengal and Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours. West Bengal, Telangana and Tamil Nadu received their first cases last Wednesday. So far, 32 patients have been found in Maharashtra, 17 in Rajasthan, 6 in Delhi, 5 in Kerala, 4 in Gujarat, 3 in Karnataka, 2 in Telangana. At the same time, one case each has come up in Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.

But there is still a fear of a wave of omicrons in Maharashtra in January. In this regard, Acs Dr. Pradeep Vyas said at the cabinet meeting. He says omicron cases in the state may rise rapidly in January and a third wave may occur.
