Mumbai: Coronavirus cases continue to increase in Maharashtra. So far, 6 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the state on Saturday. Of these, 5 cases have been reported from Mumbai and 1 from Nagpur. The number of corona infected cases has increased to 159 in the state. Talking about the whole country, the number of corona infected patients has crossed 800.

Earlier on Friday, a 65-year-old woman died of a coronavirus infection at Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai. This is the fifth death in the state. In addition, a suspected doctor was also killed, but the BMC has not yet confirmed the death from corona infection. As of 8 pm on Friday night, 28 new corona cases were registered in the state. This is by far the highest number of cases in a day.

So far, coronavirus has been confirmed in a total of 24 people in Sangli district. They all came in contact with the same family and some members of this family came back from Saudi Arabia to India. Similarly, 4 cases have also been reported due to close contact in Nagpur. The maximum corona cases in the state are from Mumbai.
