New Delhi: The issue of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal cautioning the Central government about the new strain of Covid in Singapore is gaining momentum. After External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's statement in the case today, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has now held a press conference accusing Centre Sarkra of indulging in the case.

Manish Sisodia said CM Kejriwal had said on the situation in Singapore that children are under threat in Singapore, so we need to be on alert. Singapore's health minister had also made a statement about the threat being posed to children. After which CM Kejriwal has warned the Central government. But now the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has played poor politics on this.

Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia said the BJP is worried about Singapore. He is worrying about the image of the country in front of them. But the children of our country are not concerned with the BJP Government. He said doctors and experts had earlier warned from all sides when a new strain had arrived in London. Even then, the Government of India did not take any steps, and then our entire country had to bear the brunt of it. Then the Government of India sat hand-on-hand. Corona caused havoc. After the variant in London, the Government of India did nothing. The Singapore Health Ministry has also said that there is no such thing as singapore variant, yet Sisodia's statement has come to light.
