Lucknow: BSP National President Mayawati has expressed concern over the continuing deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh and the inclusion of low income groups in the ambit of increase in electricity rates. In a tweet on Monday, Ti said, "The deteriorating crime control and law and order situation in UP as well as the anarchy and anxiety in relation to the lives and dignity of the sisters and daughters of the society."
Mayawati further wrote that "contrary to government claims, the influx of heinous crimes of all forms of heinous crimes across the state has caused panic among the people." Mayawati also strongly condemned the increase in the price of electricity in UP and the inclusion of low income groups in its ambit. In another tweet, Mayawati said, "The government's preparedness to give a sharp blow to the stricken Awam and BPL families by increasing electricity rates is highly condemnable."
Mayawati, in a questionable tone to the state government, said, "After the Lok Sabha elections, will the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in this way hurt the 20 crore people of UP? Will this increase not turn good luck into a misfortune plan?"
