Srinagar: People's Democratic Party (PDP) supremo and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has once again raised a controversial statement. Addressing a rally in Jammu, Mehbooba Mufti attacked the Modi government at the Centre saying that they say Jinnah divided the country, but thousands of Jinnahs will be found in the country who are distributing not only the earth but also the people.

Mehbooba also said that these are the people who have not contributed to the independence of the country. He said that they were licking the shoes of the British and today they are teaching us patriotism. Mehbooba also said that we blame Jinnah, who fought for freedom and liberated India along with Jawaharlal Nehru, Gandhiji, Sardar Patel, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and Ambedkarji. But we have a complaint that they divided our country and we avoid taking their names today.

Hitting out at the Modi government, Mehbooba Mufti alleged that Jammu and Kashmir is being used as a "test laboratory". Mehbooba alleged that the army was called by the government instead of interacting with the parties of the then state while removing 370.
