Modi Government created 20 control rooms to help people in lockdown

New Delhi: The government has set up 20 control rooms on Tuesday to solve the problems faced by workers and labourers across the country due to the lockdown implemented to prevent corona. These control rooms have been created under the Office of the Chief Labor Commissioner. These control rooms have been mainly given two types of work - to solve the problems related to the wages of workers at the central level and to solve the problems of the migrant workers in collaboration with the state governments.

In the call centre of these control rooms, any person can contact by phone, WhatsApp or email. The government has said in a statement in this regard that, 'All concerned officers have been advised to adopt a humane attitude towards the workers and to ensure timely relief to the needy people as far as possible'.

The government has extended the period of nationwide lockdown till May 3. The lockdown of the first phase was ending today i.e. 14 April. Today at 10 am, PM Narendra Modi said in his address to the country that the havoc of Corona has not reduced yet, in which case the lockdown in the country is being carried forward till 3 May.
