Monsoon has knocked in many areas of Uttarakhand today. If it started raining late at night, then on Tuesday morning the monsoon dampened the first rain. In the Chamoli district and Barkot of Uttarkashi, a spell of rain started from midnight which came to a halt on Tuesday morning. At the same time, the torrential rain in Barkot led to debris on the Yamunotri highway. The highway has been blocked, while Chamoli, which has been raining late at night, stopped at around six in the morning. The temperature has dropped significantly here. On 24 June, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at some places in Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Nainital and Dehradun.

At the same time, heavy rain may occur in many areas of Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, Pauri and Tehri districts. On June 25, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Nainital and Dehradun districts. Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, Pauri and Tehri may receive heavy rains during this period. On June 26, heavy rain may occur at some places in Pithoragarh, Nainital, Pauri and Dehradun districts.
